Runing burn in on SiSofft sandra on my OCed intel core 2 duo e6420
reports temps arount 55C, while running at the same time Core Temp
reports temperatures around 65C.
Using gigabyte mobo btw. Any ideas of which temp is right?

The easiest way is to boot into the BIOS and check the temps,
then reboot into Windows and compare. My E6600 idles at
44C and only hits 50C with both cores at 100%, so I would
be inclined to believe the 55C reading. Everest Ultimate,
which can be downloaded for a 30 trial from lavalys.com,
gives temps for the CPU chip and each individual core.
