shutting down

Using Win2k I go to Start,Shut Down, and select shut down.
My Win2k computer shuts down, but I get a message that
says "It is Now Safe To Turn Your Computer off". How do I
get rid of that message ??????????

Go to the power applet in the control panel. If you have an APM tab, check
the box.
