When I am connected to the internet, I get the following
message after about 3 minutes.
Shutdown initiated by NT authority/system. Windows must
shut down because the remote procedure call (RPC)
service terminated unexpectedly.
Then the compuetr shuts down after 60 seconds.
What is the cause and how can I fix the problem?
Thank you
Susanne

Probably blaster worm

http://securityresponse.symantec.com/avcenter/venc/data/w32.blaster.worm.rem
oval.tool.html

download removal tool from there and also apply microsoft patch for your
Operating System..

After that, get (or update) your antivirus software (one free software is
http://www.grisoft.com)

Get some free FireWall software (one can be found at
http://www.zonelabs.com) and install that.

I would recommend also you to download (and after that update them) two
other freeware programs to seek trojans. AdAware from www.lavasoft.de and
SpyBot Seek & Destroy from http://security.kolla.de

those should help preventing your system to be infected by viruses, or
trojans and stuff like that...
