Hi,

How do I tell WinXP to allow a remotely-connected user (through Remote
Desktops) to shutdown and/or restart the system? All I can do by default is
Logout or Disconnect. I've had a look through the options in gpedit.msc but
can't see anything relevant.

Thanks,

Fork.

If you bring up the remote Task Manager, with a <Ctrl><Alt><End> key sequence, you can go to
"Shutdown -> Restart". Is that what your after? You can also use the "tsshutdn" or "shutdown"
commands from the command line. Open "Help and Support" and search on each for the proper syntax.
