Hi everyone....... I used system restore to get back to a point where I have to click to change which window is on top, instead of just having the cursor pass over the window........ whew......... but now, when I try to shut down, a box asks me to choose options of shutting down and restarting Windows, not just shutting down my computer......... then when it comes back up, it requests a password........ how do I get the regular shutdown box back?.........

I'd appreciate any help ......... Thank you, so much............

I do not think that you did not get this dialog when you shutdown your
PC earlier. But this may help: "How to Change the Logon Window and the
Shutdown Preferences" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=291559).
Also see "How to Configure Windows XP to Automatically Log On a User
Account" (http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=282866).
