shutdown question

when i connect to the internet sometimes i will recieve
the error "windows nt has initated a shutdown by nt
authority". i'm running xp, use a dial up isp and browse
using explorer 6.0. any ideas why this would be
happening? thanks in advnce.

I'm having the exact same problem with running xp and
using dialup. my other computer runs 98 ad it works fine.
it's something with xp setup i would guess. have you heard
anything?

Get your browser upto date with Windows critical updates and run virus
checker
