Can someone explain to me why I have to keep restarting my
computer in order to keep my Explorer running? It shuts
down every few minutes and the web pages will not be
available. In fact nothing that requires the internet is
available.
Thanks in advance.

If explorer.exe is stopping by itself you don't need to reboot to get it
going again. Just use Task Manager's New Task... button
(or equivalently its File, New... command).

Your description is very vague (e.g. no OS mentioned) and I can see that
