My Linksys wireless B USB adapter 2.6 v.4.0 updated driver is causing a
freeze in the shutdown process with Vista Ultimate 32bit. If I unplug the
adapter prior to shutdown all is well. I've tried 3 different shutdown apps
but none solve the problem. Is there a Vista tweak (perhaps a reg timeout
adjustment) which might sort this out?

I have a Linksys wireless N WRT300N and it is doing the same thing. If I
unplug it before shutdown it will shutdown. Really a pain in the you know
what. I contacted Linksys and they say that it is not their problem. It is
Microsoft Vista. Not sure what to do. It doesn't seem Microsoft is really
addressing this issue.
