Shutdown a W2K server through Telnet

Hi Everybody

Kindly tell how to shutdown a W2K server by command prompt, such as

C:\>shutdown no

Because I want to shutdown that server through Telnet

Might be XP only, though I doubt it. Try TSShutDn (the terminal services shutdown command). They both do local and remote systems.

Shutdown seems to be in Win2000 Server Resource Kit.

supports remote shutdown...

If there's IIS installed on that computer, you can use the IISReset
command-line tool.

"IISRESET /shutdown"
or
"IISRESET /reboot"
