Shut down

My computer does not shut down, log off, restart or
switch users sometimes. It comes up with a dialogue box
with DEVLDR or something like that on it. It tells
to "end now" or "cancel", but it just seems to lock up
and does nothing. Is there a patch for this?

No patch, but you need to install the latest driver for your SoundBlaster
sound card. You can find it on the SoundBlaster web site, which, if you are
based in the U.S., you find here: http://us.creative.com/support/downloads/.
