First check your startup group, if the program doesn't appear there check
add and remove programs to see if you can id the program and remove it
there. If it doesn't show up in either of these places you need to use a
registry editor. Please follow all of Microsofts guide lnes on the danger of
editing the registry. A mistake can leave your system un-usable. Backup,
etc....
The way to see these types of programs is to use the registry editor
Run regedit or regedt32 go to he following key:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows\CurrentVersion\Run
This key will list the programs that are started automaticaly. Delete any
program you do not want to run. If you can't id the program by the
executable name the following web site may be helpfull.
http://www.lafn.org/webconnect/mentor/startup/PENINDEX.HTM
Hope this is helpfull
