If I turn off my device without click on START - SHUT DOWN, may I have
any problems with Win XPe?
Is it true that winXPe make continuously a copy of its system files?

thanx . roby

You need 3 Components:

- EWF Manager Console application
- EWF NTLDR
- Enhanced Write Filter

However look in this NG 03/07/2003
Ciao

Based on our result without using EWF, and if we do this
often:
1. Blue screen -> CONFIG_LIST_FAILED (0x73)
2. Can never boot from the disk again

The cause (so far): Operating system (WXP and WXPe) keeps
writing system log files to the disk (you cannot turn this
off). When the power goes OFF suddenly, the file might
become currupt, and the OS will stop since it cannot open
this file again.

The only way we solve this problem is to use EWF. Of
course, using EWF is also a challenge ;P

How does EWF work?
my problem is :

I have an application ( written in visual basic 6 ) that write
continuously to a database ACCESS. Sometimes if the power goes OFF
these database become wrong, and my application doesn't run again.
with EWF can i write to these databases?

thank-you. roby.
