What are the following : 1) CiceroUIWndFrame 2) ECDInvisable Window 3)
#gen_window# Indexing Status. Recently, Windows has gotten weird, and when
trying to re-boot I get a message say those ?? whatever’s are trying to shut
down but can’t. What are they and what’s happening?

Remove CiceroUIWndFrame to avoid crashes - I found out that this is the 'Speech and Handwriting Recognition' part of Office XP.
You can go into Add/Remove, Chose you Office software and do a Repair. And remove Speech and Handwriting in not using.

Or open Control Panel | Regional and Language Options | Languages | Details | Advanced

and Turn off advanced text services

Not that easy Larry. If you're turning off Advanced Text Services and want it
to stay off, then you need to unregister a couple of dll's. What you will
actually be doing is stoping the CFTMON.EXE . So do as Larry suggests and
make sure that when clicking the "Change" button then put a dot in "add or
remove features" circle(radio button) and click next the function you will
need to click the + beside is the "Office Shared Features" and then the
"Alternative User Input" and make sure it's set to "Unavailable" but then you
will need to click>start>run and type in regsvr32 /u msimtf.dll and click
ok(or you can copy and paste it in the run line) and then you you will need
to type in regsvr32 /u msctf.dll and click ok again. That will stop the stuff
from starting again, when you run messenger, or use Outlook, and some other
apps that have associations to Office XP. TTFN.

What is the CETMON.EXE

Ctfmon.exe is part of MS Office. You don't need to be concerned. See:

Frequently asked questions about Ctfmon.exe
http://support.microsoft.com/Default.aspx?kbid=282599

Also, you don't need to be so elaborate in removing the CiceroUIWndFrame
shutdown error. Far more simply:

This error is caused by the "Speech and Handwriting Recognition" feature
of MS Office. You can turn this feature off by going to the Add/Remove
Programs applet in Control Panel. Click on the entry for MS Office and
then on "Change". Browse to "Office Shared Features," "Alternative User
Input," and make Speech and Handwriting Recognition (both) "Not
available" from the drop-down box.

This assumes that you aren't using the Speech and Handwriting
Recognition feature of course.
