WHEN I SHUT DOWN MY COMPUTER TODAY, A MESSAGE APPEARED INDICATING THERE WERE
OTHER USERS AND DID I STILL WISH TO SHUT DOWN

-I BELIEVE I HAVE A FIREWALL FOR SECURITY

-ANY SUGGESTIONS?thanks

First, fix your Caps Lock Key. It seems to be stuck in the ALL CAPS
position.

Now, to your issue . . .

Do you or do you not have a firewall installed and running? Do you share
your computer with other users? If you do share your computer, do these
other users each have their own user account? If you do not have any other
persons sharing your computer with you, then either the message was in
error, or someone has logged on to your computer.

Install and use security software. There are many free applications that
are very good for securing your system.
