I do not know what to do since every time I turn my
computer on an error message pops up telling me that it
will shut down and of course it does. Why is this
happening and what can I do about it?

Do you know the song "Yankee Doodle"? Sing it with these words:

Yankee Doodle went to Staples
Riding on a Humvee
And said "Is there some antivirus software you can sell me?"

Antivirus software rocks
There's no doubt about it
You'll be in for lots of shocks
If you're online without it.

What is the error message? Do you get the same one very
time? At what point does it appear? What are you doing
when it happens?

The same exact error message comes up every time and
usually I ammjust working on any given application. The
message usually appears while I'm working.

Presuming that 'the person' knows how to use antivirus software correctly...

....is 'the person' familiar with Windows Update?

Since the person's computer is already infected with the virus, the person
will have to use the msblaster virus removal tools, which can be found on
the web sites of the major antivirus software companies. If the person is
fortunate, the virus will be removed completely, and without adversely
affecting the rest of the person's computer.
