When I print a particular report from the database window
the size is fine, but when I use the DoCmd.OpenReport
method in vba, The report shrinks to 1/4 the size on the
page.
Any ideas?

Update: If I use the "acViewPreview" option with the
DoCmd.OpenReport method, then print after previewing, it
prints the correct size. When I remove
the "acViewPreview" option and print it directly, I get
the 1/4 size report.

Randy:

There are two places where settings may have been made that could impact
this.

1.) When you preview the report, note that there is an icon in the toolbar
to that allows you display the report 1 up, 2 up 4 up etc. Try changing to
4 up in preview, then back to 1 up and then save the report.

2.) If that doesn't work and the problem only impacts one report, open that
report in design mode, then from File-> Page Set Up, choose the Page tab and
if the report is set to use the default printer, change it to specific
printer and then from the print dialog that displays, choose the printer's
properties. See if its been set to print 4 up (which would be embedded in
the report.) If so change that and save the report (resetting to use the
default printer.)

2.) If its impacting all reports then there might be a problem with the
default settings for the printer. Open the printers folder and right click
on the printer. If on NT/2000/XP select printing preferences; if on a 9x
platform, choose properties and check out what the printer is set for by
default.

Thanks for taking the time to reply to my question, Steve.

1) Tried 1.), but no change. (I'm assuming when you talk
about 1 up, 2 up, 4 up that you're talking about the
icons to preview 1, 2, 4... pages at a time on the same
screen.)
2) The problem only impacts one report. I walked through
your steps in 2.) until I got to "See if its been set to
print 4 up (which would be embedded in the report.)". I
opened the '[PrinterName] Document Properties' window,
but I don't see on any of the three tabs (Layout,
Paper/Quality, or Extended Options)where any settings
would show if it's set to print 4 up.
