Is the toolbar "Visual Basic" (present in MS Access 97)
vanished in MS Access 2002? You normally can choose this
toolbar in a macro when action = showToolbar.

If the answer is Yes, can anyone tell me why and if the is
a backdoor to get it back?

The difference is that the VB window is part of the Access
Application window in A97, i.e. the Access Application
Window is the Parent MDI window of the (Child MDI) VB
window. Thus, the Access Application window can show the
VB Toolbar.

In A2K and AXP, the VB window is NOT a Child MDI window
anymore. VB window is now part of the Parent MDI
window "VBE", abbreviated from Visual Basic (integrated
development) Environment. The VB "Standard" Toolbar now
belongs to VBE, not the Access Application window.
Therefore, you cannot show the "VB" Toolbar in the Access
Applicaton window.

The VBE shows the VB "Standard" Toolbar by default unless
you change it.
