"Show this folder as an e-mail address book check box" is disabled

When I click Properties of a Contact List and then select "Outlook Address Book" tab, the "Show this folder as an e-mail address book check box" is displayed but cannot be selected - the checkbox is disabled. This applies to all my contact lists, including new ones that I create. Since I cannot check this checkbox I cannot include any of my contact lists to appear in the Address Book. How could I enable and check the checkbox ("Show this folder as an e-mail address book check box")

Add the Outlook Address Book Service to your profile.
If you don't know how, post your Outlook version so someone can tell you.
