Show the Desktop icon not visible anymore on Task Bar

Hello,my "Show the Desktop" little icon on the Taskbar disappeared,I may
have inadvertently deleted it.
Is there anyway to get it back in place?,I can not find it anywhere in the
hard disk.

WindowsXP Home,Pentium4,1.9 Ghz,Service Pack2
 
Thanks Patty,but when I get to the point of dragging the file Show
Desktop.scf.,and putting it in the Quick Launch folder,I am told to click
"Move Here",I do not have or see any options with that name.

Follow the 1st and 2nd step but in step 3 :
Click File > Save as > In the File name, type this :
"%userprofile%\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet Explorer\Quick
Launch\Show desktop.scf" (Including quotes)

The above should be in one line.
