okay, here is the scenario. I've got a 15-slide presentation that I want to
cycle through (its the announcements at church). One of the slides, though,
I want to change only a couple of words from one time to the next time that
it is shown. I have created about 5 of those slides. Is there a way to
make it so that each of those 5 slides is shown only once during the entire
presentation?

signed,
projectionist that has been thrown a slightly different curve ball but
always aims to please.

Are you in a position to be able to run VBA on the projection computer? I
do not believe this can be done without using VBA.

If all else fails you could use the brute force and ignornace approach!

Make a presentation that contains five copies of all the slides. Modify the
variable one to create the five variants. Run it once.
Not elegant but practical and probably quicker to achive than an elegant
solution.
