I have share a Calendar, but when I open Outlook always open my default local
calendar, how can I change this and open always by default the share
calendar.

Sincerely

Juan Carlos Fernández

I have this same problem and I'm using Outlook 2003. In need my default
calendar to be the shared calendar on our exchange server instead of my local
calendar.

Use Tools | Email Accounts to set the Exchange mailbox as the default delivery location, instead of the .pst file.

Forgive me, but that was the hardest to actually understand and actually
implement response I have ever seen a MVP leave in these discussions.

Not to mention, the issue was never resolved with that method you pointed to
about the pst and the delivery location. I run all my users thru the settings
you mentioned and none are able to have their default calendar be the shared
calendar on the server.

Can you please re-verify your information and bring to light the method of
setting the default calendar, please.

Thanks,
Jon

Sorry. The default Calendar folder is the one in the information store set as the default delivery location. I figured the Tools | E-mail Accounts wizard pretty self-explanatory. Here's the step-by-step:

1) Click Tools | E-mail Accounts.

2) Select "View or change existing e-mail accounts" and then click Next.

3) Under "Deliver new e-mail to the following location," select "Mailbox - <your name>."

In other words, you can't deliver mail to a .pst file and have the default Calendar be the one on the Exchange server.
