show progression

I often convene meetings where there are many Powerpoint presentors. As the PP shows progress, I would like to be able to see where the presentation is at (perhaps as a "% completed" bar, either inconspicuously on the bottom of the screen or on the side of the screen), so that I can either urge presentors to speed up, or let free discussions flow. Is there a way of making PP to do this??? Any suggestions will be greatly appreciated.

This is the second or third time this one's come up this week. It's now officially a
