I know there's an option somewhere (because I remember running across it
recently) to show printers in (I think) My computer. Anybody remember how I
do that?

_____

'Printers and Faxes' in the 'Start Menu'?

Right click on the 'Start' BUTTON
Select 'Properties'
Click on the 'Customize...' BUTTON
Click on the 'Advanced' TAB
Scroll down the drop-down list 'Start menu items:'
Check the BOX 'Printers and Faxes'

Click on OK
Click on Apply
Click on OK

Now, when you click on the 'Start' BUTTON 'Printers and Faxes' appears on
the right. Click on 'Printers and Faxes' and you get the same results as
when you click on 'Printers and Faxes' in 'Control Panel'.

It is easy to forget exactly where you saw a function because many in
Windows XP can be reached in several ways.

In Control Panel right click the Printers and Faxes icon, then click
Create Shortcut. This will place an icon on your desktop for
quickly accessing printers and their settings.

Thank you very much for your quick response. It's not what I really had in
mind but it will work. Thanks.

Thank you very much for your quick response. It's still not exactly what I
wanted but it will work nicely. Thanks.
