Hello

When looking at my contacts I see them stored with last/first name or as
first/last name.

I would like to convert them all at once so they can be read and accessed
last/first name.

Can you help?

PS I have MS OUtlook 2003

When I open up my "Address Book" via "tools--> addressbook" but also when I
have a 'new message' and I want to find an address/name and I push the button
"TO"for instance....

Some emailaddresses are with
full name: firstname lastname
file as: lastname firstname

Others are stored
full name: lastname firstname
file as: lastname firstname

or are stored
full name: lastname firstname
file as: firstname lasttname

PROBLEM is that when viewing the COMPLETE addresslist (and when I have the
intention to browse the names) some are seen in the first column with their
firstname first and some with their lastname first....

Can't I group them somehow so I can view them ALL with their lastname first?

It does not matter HOW I enter a new contact, they all are viewed
differently in the complete addressbook-list and I reeeeaaallly would like
some synchronicity in my list

:(

Go to Tools > E-mail accounts > View or change existing directories or
address books > Outlook Address Book > Change. > Set your sort order there

What happens when you click (in Outlook, not the Address Book) Tools>E-mail
Accounts>View or change existing directories or address books>Next, select
the Outlook Address Book, click Change, select the "Show names by" order you
want, click Close, then Finish, and stop and restart Outlook? Do the names
appear the way you want?

I tried that...but no luck since nothing is changed :(

First of all there are no options (with "Set your sort order there") other
then FIRST/LAST and FILE AS (Last/First)

on second thought...that second option looks intresting and I tried that one
and it WORKED!!

Thanks guys!!!
