Show in Groups folder setting

Anyone know of a way to clear the default "Show in Groups"
setting for folders (e.g. CD-ROM drive contents)?

Any new CD or DVD has this set by default.

Is there a registry setting I can use to have this setting
un-checked by default?

Make your settings for one folder, then go to Tools > Folder Options >
View and press the "Apply to all Folders" button. Press CTRL whild you
close the Explorer window.
This may not help for CD-ROM drives. I see this behaviour here as well
from time to time.
