Good day friends,

I have a very simply database with records that will most likely have a
couple fields empty (sub-categories).

I need to print a report without wasting space on empty fields.. Is there a
"Show if" kind of command in Access Reports?? (I am an ASP programmer and
usually create all reports for web display!!)

Any other suggestions that does'nt require splitting the database tables are
welcomed ;-)

Thank you.

Use the CanShrink and CanGrow properties of the controls on your report.

Be sure to check these properties for the (Detail?) section as well.

Providing there is nothing else overlapping these controls vertically, they
will then shrink (or grow) vertically according to the amount of space
required.

Thanks Allen...

Very simple and very effective indeed... I had to re arrange some fields on
the report layout but was really very effective...

Thanks again.
