Outlook 2007:
I am trying to set up a folder in my mailbox, which I would use to
always have a certain website up in Outlook. To do this, I have
created a new folder to contain mail items, then selected Home Page
under properties, entered the web address under address and selected
the check box to show the home page by default. Seems to work great,
with this exception - the links on the page do not work.
More detail - the website I am tyring to use is nexo.com (I am
basically trying to use it to create an intranet for my coworkers
through the internet). The web adress of my site is: http://mysitename.nexo.com.
On the main page there are links to sub pages - when I go to those
pages in internet explorer, the address of those pages is:
http://mysitename.nexo.com/subpagename. If I do the same thing on the
page as it is displayed in Outlook, the site it tries to go to is:
http://www.nexo.com/users/mysitename/subpagename. This of course is
not an actual site and does not work.
Does anyone know why IE7 would translate the destination page of a
link differently than Outlook 2007? Any solutions? I am not too much
of a tech guy, but is it a Java thing or something that Outlook's
browser can't do that IE7 can?
Thanks!
