Show Desktop ?

I first thought that the Show Desktop feature cleared the destop, mine did
for about 2 days, then it began only closing sidebar gadgets. I would prefer
to close all Icons,sidebar,everything with this button. Does anyone know what
changes to make to fix or modify this, any help greatly appreciated, Daniel

Not exactly what you want but you can get rid of Desktop clutter by
moving some or all your desktop icons and shortcuts to Quick Launch.
Right click on a icon and select Quick Launch. They now will appear in
the Quick Launch window which pops up when you click on the little
double white arrow pointing right just a little right of the Start
button. If you like the effect and each link still works you can
delete the shortcut or icon from the Desktop.
