Show Desktop icon

I am new to XP Pro. I am used to having the show desktop
icon on my quick launch toolbar and used it often. I
can't find in on XP Pro. Is it available? If so, where.

It should be on your quick launch bar, which is turned off by default. To
turn on the quicklaunch bar right click on the Taskbar, select Toolbars and
make sure Quick Launch has a check next to it. The show desktop icon is one
of the defaults that should already be there.

My quick launch bar is visible, but no show desktop icon
appears. It shows up as a menu item when I right mouse
button click on the toolbar, but no icon.

Follow this path. Find the icon and drag it to your quicklaunch toolbar.
C:\Documents and Settings\YOUR_NAME\Application Data\Microsoft\Internet

I couldn't find it there. I looked around and found it
under the administrator's profile. Thanks for the tip.
