I know you can point mouse on time and it will show you
the date. But can I have the date showing all the
time?? Windows 95 could do it and since I have had the
upgrade to XP Prof I cant do it. Can anybody help me
please??!?!?!?

One way to do it would be to resize the taskbar. That will of course take up
more desktop real estate. Another option would be to download Tclock2. I
don't remember the url, a google search will turn it up. The option I use is
an app called winbar. It also has plenty of other info that is very useful,
such as memory and processor usage. You can find it at
http://www.winbar.nl/download.php.
Maybe one of these suggestions is what you're looking for.

right click on the taskbar, uncheck "Lock the taskbar,"
drag the taskbar up a few notches to reveal the day and
the date. It's a little big but that gets you what you
want.

This is one way that I know of:

1. right click the taskbar

2. click the lock the taskbar there should be a check
mark on it when you click it, it will dissapear

3. now grab the top edge of the taskbar and drag/move it
up so the taskbar expands.

4. filanly go back and recheck the lock the taskbar and
you should be all set.

good luck!
