Show contacts similar to Outlook Express

I have a user with Outlook 2002 running on XP SP2.

She definitely needs the features of Outlook.

She does like the way that OE has the contact list in the left bottom part
of the application window. She only has a small number of addresses.

Is there a way [I have not found it yet] to emulate this one behavior of OE
in Outlook 2002?
