Show contacts as address book

Howdy,
I have a client that can't see her contacts as an address
book.
The Exchange server is a fully patched Exchange 2003 box
The client is a fully patched Outlook2003. The client
computer is a fully patched Windows 2000 Pro.

If she goes to properties, the box that would allow the
contact list to be shown as an address book is grayed
out. This is true with her contacts and contacts that are
in Public Folders.
This was working and then stopped.

This is profile specific. In other words, if I create a
new profile on the same box, it works fine. This is the
only user experiencing the issue and it occurs at any
computer she logs into (roaming profiles.)

Does anyone know what to do to resolve this?

Thanks,

Vlaad

I would look to see if the Outlook Address Book Service has been installed
in the profile in question.

It has been and it is currently.

I hate that answer... Unfortunatly, it may be the only
correct answer.

Thanks for your time.

The final issue was:
I had to readminister the rights to her profile and set
them for all subfolders.
I am not sure what caused the issue, but that was the
cure.

Russ, thanks for your help. I see you addressing this
issue often, so I thought you might like to know the cure
for this one.

Interesting. I'm not sure what you mean by "readminister rights to her
profile." I assume this is something the Exchange admin must do? I've never
used Exchange.
