Hello,

It is possible to show Company column in the select contact box (To or Copy
to) from a new message ?

I see only the name and telephne numbers.

Thanks

No. The Outlook Address Book view is not configurable. The only way you
could see the Company is if you configured your File As... field to include
the Company, and then sorted the address book view by the File As... field.

Thanks, it works ! I will edit my contacts from Excel to copy all company to
the right field.

Regards

Cyril

That won't work. "File As..." is a derived field. You cannot populate it by
importing. You can only populate it by running code.

Or you can check third party software like Contact Genie to see if it can
populate the File As... field.

Maybe Karl can tell us.

I'm french and using french version.
I used "show as" filed and then find company by clicking search in the
choose contact box. All fields updated with Excel (1500 contacts)

It works.

But I want to follow your idea : where can I found the "file as ..." filed ?

You can use Field Chooser to add it to any table view of your Contacts.
You can easily update your Company field via an import, but the File As...
field will not usually update when you import, nor can you import directly
to that field.
