A few weeks ago my computer started having several
problems, one of which necessitated having a new CD-RW
installed by a Packard Bell technician who came to the
house. Since then this drive has been acting strange and
when I asked for assistance I was asked whether he had
reformatted the computer. I said no, he hadn't and it
was suggested that this would put things right. Since
then I have tried to load a new programme using this
drive and it won't. Should I reformat the computer (this
means losing all that's saved on the hard drive or is
there some other way of getting things back to normal? I
will leave my email address ([email protected]) incase
anyone can help.
Thanks in advance,
Anne

to reformat your computer is a strange choice, if your
cdrw or comp is under warranty go back to them.
