Some quick questions on setting up RAID for K8N4-E Deluxe:
1. I'm about to setup my new system -- have 2 SATA drives that I want to setup as RAID 1. Should I use the nVidia or the SIL connectors?
2. In the future, I will likely get two more SATA drives (waiting for another round of rebates
. At that point, should I evolve to RAID 5 or set up a second RAID 1 system? Primary use of the drives is to store our family photos and videos, using RAID to minimize chance of loss / corruption from disk failures.
3. I've seen reference that the nVidia can do RAID 5 -- but the motherboard manual only lists RAID 0, 1, 1+0 and JBOD. Does nVida have RAID 5 available? And if so, is it a controller-level or OS software solution?
