Should I remove previous windows installations?

Maybe a dumb question, but I'm nervous about removing XP now that I have
Vista up and running.

Are there any dangers in removing it? I've already backed up my system but
Vista is running so well, I hate to fix something that isn't broken.

(previous installation takes up about 63Gig of space!)

Thanks.

Hello,

No, you don't need to be nervous in deleting the Windows.Old folder once you
have Vista installed and working. But, Windows.old shouldn't be 63 gigs
unless, you downloaded a lot of updates and modifications to Windows XP.

Thank you Jonathan. I went ahead and deleted it through disk cleanup. (I
hope that was an adequate way of doing it.) My harddrive feels much better
now. :)

I had XP Media Center with all the updates....so I think it was huge.

I have noticed two problems that I forgot about, so I'll have to check the
boards to see if I'm the only person experiencing them....

-Digital Media slots aren't "working". No light or accessing going on when
a card is inserted. They worked in XP.

-Outlook seems to hiccup a lot. I have a lot of mail (yes, I need to clean
it up) but I get a "Not Responding" a lot.

thanks!

For the Outlook issues, I suggest you post to one of the Outlook newsgroups.
They are OS independent.
