Should i install DirectX 9.0b?

I was downloading the 3d Aquarium Screensaver but it said i needed to
download DirectX 9 from Microsoft before instalation. My graphics card
is currently an nVidia MX440. I plan on getting the 9600 XT soon.
Should i go ahead and intall DirectX 9.0b? Any problems?

As a lot of games released now use DX9 then yes, you should.

Since the XT drivers require DX9 to function properly, he must.

The latest version of DirectX is available from
http://windowsupdate.microsoft.com/ , along with a number of security
patches for Windows.
