should explorer.exe access the internet

iexplorer.exe of course allow
explorer.exe ???

both are accessing for firewall rights and access to web

I am just a general everyday net user mail, music etc nothing to extreme for
me

should I allow explorer.exe over the firewall??? Is it very safe???? can it
be exploited? if it accesses the net??

Deny it and see what happens, if anything. If it causes problems, remove
the deny entry; it'll ask permission next time and you can allow it if you
want what doesn't work.

Nope, you don't need to give an access to the Internet if you will access
website using IE.

Yes explorer.exe should be allowed to access the internet.

For one thing if you use the Run command (Start | Run) to type or paste
urls.

Or if you use the Address bar on your Taskbar to type or paste urls.

Or if you use the Address bar in any folder to type or paste urls.

There may be more, but I cannot think of any right now.
