Keith,

Am in the middle of a system transfer. Send the files you mentioned on
"solved" or at least the subject to me. Would like to read that and follow
back up on the other one.

Hi Keith,

Went through your process......rather long. :o) All that is really needed
it to go back to Themes, select Windows XP, apply. No log off needed. All
is well.

For most, going to Appearance/Advanced/Menu ..... change color, works as
well.

That was the simplest demonstration of the difference. If you change your menu background to a
custom color before saving, it will affect the menu background but not the button background. When
you apply the saved theme. button backgrounds take on the custom menu background color -- they don't
blend with the menu bar in apps such as notepad. The edit I propose if for those who bothered to
apply a custom color to menu backgrounds & don't want to lose it.

Changing menu color behaves well went the bit is set, but not when it is cleared. Play with it some
more, you'll see what I mean.

Hi Keith,

Didn't get that deep, sorry to say. But will take your word for it. <w>
In most cases however, and absolutely depending..... But, if your fix
works overall and generally speaking, script it.

As for the latter, yes, I know. :o(
