I have created several files in my data base for a training class for work. At one point I created a shortcut for one of the folders. I am trying to copy this information to a removable memory stick but when I try to open the folder on my laptop I get a message that says "The drive or network connection that the shortcut'....ink refers to is unavailable......
Can someone help me to either get rid of the shortcut problem or tell me how to work around it so that i can use the memory stick with my laptop. I have other folders on the memory stick that I can get to but they are not shortcuts on my desktop

Obviously the Drive letter for the memory stick is different on the computer
you copied the shortcut from, to the computer you copied the shortcut to.
The shortcuts won't work like that. Either you'll need to relink the tables
and not use the shortcut by opening the front-end from the Windows explorer,
or you can simply create the same folder on both machines (something like
C:\Database\) and use the memory stick as a transport device to move the
files back and forth.
