Shortcuts in Folders

I placed a lot of shortcuts in appropriate folders on my desk top.

If I right click a folder a list of enclosed shortcuts is displayed from
which selections can be made.

If, instead, I left double click the same folder Windows Search window
appears but no sign of the enclosed shortcuts.

How can I get a double click on the folder to display the shortcuts?

Thanks.

Bill

Are you telling us the mouse button's actions are only reversed for this one
folder?

Try MVP Doug Knox's fix:

I tried dougknox.com... solution and it worked a treat.

Thanks Malke and Dave for your help. It is very much appreciated.

Super! I'm happy that helped. Thanks for taking the time to post back.

After I had applied the solution suggested by Malke I looked at the
source code of the download using VB. I wondered how on earth anyone
knew that two specific keys in the Registry needed to be set to "none".

Then after going to the URL suggested by Dave and as was said about
Newton "...and there was light".

Once again I am grateful to both of you for your time that got me out of
a situation that was so annoying.

Thanks.
