If I open "MY Computer" & click on either the CD Rom (F) or DVD (E) drive they both are accessable.However If I Drag a shortcut to the desktop for either one , from the open "MY Computer", "Windows" dialog box claims that: The Item "E:\" that this shortcut refers to has been changed or moved,so that this shortcut will no longer work properly.Do you wany to delete this shortcut?
If I click no, & then rt click & look at it's properties, the target is "E:\", & clicking "Find Target" I get the same message as above. IF I click "OK" : then I get "The name "F:\" specified in the Target box is not valid. Make shure that the path & file name is correct. Both Drives work fine but can only be accessed thru "My computer".I want shortcuts to reside on the task bar.I had them once & they worked.On day the above described result appeared.
How can I fix this ?

instead of drag/drop try right-click the drive and select
the "create shortcut" ...it will ask for desktop. once
on the desktop drag/drop into quick launch area next to
start button.

Michael;
You bet. A fellow by the name of Jeff pointed it out to me. My SendTo shortcut to E: drive
goes bad every time I close InCD. I just delete the shortcut and open InCD again. Never ending
cycle.
