Shortcut to desktop

I,m having trouble, creating a shortcut, to my desktop,
for my cd drive. Ever time I drag, and drop it on the
desktop, it makes it to the desktop fine, but when I
click on it, it will say, it can't fine the shortcut.

Hi,
I think update# 821557 is causing this behaviour. Try un-installing this
update see if the behaviour continues or not.
