I've tried several different ways to get the shortcut to
the C-D drive to work, Kellys c-d fix did not work, Tried renaming path to
no avail......Someone told me to delete 821557 in the control panel, But
it's
not there. At least, Not since the rollup.I see the uninstall 821557 in the
windows
folder, But deleting this will not work, And doing a search only tells me I
have
to contact microsoft, Anyone know the step by step instructions to get this
working
again?......I have X-P home on a Dell dimension 8200.
Thanks in advance to all that helps or just reads this, You can learn alot
from these
groups!!!!..................................................................

Open My Computer by left clicking on it. Under "Devices with Removable
Storage" find your CD and right click on it. Chose create shortcut>chose
yes. Now you have a sortcut on your desktop to do with as you please.
