Not all executables allow parameters.

Using Microsoft Word to build a web page will do that. Also sorts of nasty,
illegal bloated HTML that will cause serious issues. And, the VML that is
an IE only feature.

Why people use a word processor to build web pages instead of a web
application, I'll never understand.

I tried it again with everything set to the default in both IE and Firefox.
Same results. IE no pictures. Firefox two pictures on top of the text making
some text unreadable. I'm not criticising. If there's something not working
in any of my web sites I greatly appreciate it when someone points it out.
It's not always possible to test every browser.

Then check your settings for IE. It works fine here.

Kerry: The pictures are there in IE. Scroll waaaaay to the right, and
you'll see them completely out of synch with the page.

Another result of using a MS Word (a word processor, not web design program)
to design a web page.

I didn't receive your email. My un-munged email is available to MVP's on the
MVP site. I doubt anything you'd say would make me hate you :-)

Hi Jose,

Yes, I got your e-mail, and I'm still swamped at this point.

I see them at the top of the page, where they should be, and the page was designed in Front Page, originally. I don't know what's been done to it since I left DTS-L. But I do see what you're referring to about a couple of pictures. And somehow the default for the links/graphics on the left has been changed to "open in new window", rather than in the right frame, where appropriate.

Doug: The site (page) may have been originally started with FrontPage, but
it's been updated with word.

Believe me, we address this constantly in the FP newsgroups.

I personally wouldn't use FP for desktop publishing, and I wouldn't try to
use Word for a web site. ;-)

OK. See if it looks better now.
It now looks OK for me in IE 6.0.2900.2180 but I don't use Firefox

Still has vertical and horizontal scrollbars that don't seem to show
anything but blank space. IE7B3, WinXP SP2

Looks the same in IE and Firefox now. There is a picture of Alex Nichol that
shows up with the paragraph wrapped around it. The picture of Kelly Theriot
is gone. I also see the scroll bars in IE and Firefox. If I scroll to the
extreme bottom right (way off screen) there is another picture of Alex.

I agree, Tom. I originally helped design the DTS-L web site, but haven't been involved with the group in a while. I no longer have access, so someone from the group will have to correct it.
