Can anyone tell me how to put a shortcut of another's
calendar on the outlook taskbar.

I'm using Outlook 2002. An assistant would like to put her
bosses calendar on her taskbar so she doesn't have to open
it up in a new window every morning.

Thanks

She can't do this if she's opening the boss's calendar from the Open
Other User's Folder menu. She'd actually have to add the boss's
calendar to her Folder List to be able to create the shortcut. If she
wants to do this, these are the steps:

First, give the assistant Reviewer permission at the root of the boss's
mailbox (or have him do it if you don't have the rights to do so).
Then, make sure the assistant has the appropriate permission for the
boss's Calendar folder itself. Once those two things are done, she can
go into Tools | E-mail Accounts (assuming she is also using Outlook
2002), then into Exchange Server properties, click Advanced, and then
add the boss's mailbox to the list. The mailbox and all the folders she
has permissions to see will then appear in her folder list. Once that's
done, she can drag the boss's calendar folder to her Outlook Bar to
create a shortcut.
