shortcut on desktop - deleting the word "shortcut"

Hello

Can someone tell me how not to display the word "shortcut" when I create a
shortcut on my desktop?

Hi

I didn't realize automatically deleting the word "shortcut" required messing
with Regedit, which I am afraid to use. I don't want to download and install
too many utilities so I will just continue to use the shortcut as it is.

But thank you for your suggestions.
