Shortcut Arrows

I used to love the XP powertoys program for one reason I was able to get rid
of those little arrows on desktop shortcuts to programs. Is there any way
to get rid of those in Vista without the benefit of a powertoys add-in?

I bet Microsoft wishes all the problems they had were this easy!
