short cut to desktop

i cannot get shortcuts on my desktop to connect to the
internet.i can connect fine to the internet with internet
explorer.but,the short cuts will not.

somebody please help!!!!! Nate

Please make sure the target for your shortcuts point to iexplore.exe (e.g.
"C:\Program Files\Internet Explorer\iexplore.exe")
