Can someone please visit www.blankshirtstore.com and see if they can put an
item in the shopping cart using Internet Explorer 6? Every time I try to use
the cart I see a message about a server error and I can't get a resolution
from the site support person. I've tried with and without cookies enabled.
I've refreshed the page numerous times. I've visited on different days and
still no joy. I frequently make online purchases and this is the only site
I've ever had problems with. TIA

Thank you. Should I mention I use WIN98, IE6 sp1 version 6.0.2800.1160ic?
(Idon't want sp2) My security level is medium but I have modified that
setting somewhat if it matters.

From your headers: Microsoft Outlook Express 6.00.2800.1158

If you're posting from the machine in question, you're running outdated and
much less secure versions of OE, IE and Windows. Check in at Windows Update
ASAP!

(There is no SP2 for IE6, especially in Win98. There is a WinXP
SP2-specific version of IE6, though.)

Thank you for your concern. My experience is that MS updates are more
harmful than the threats they're supposed to prevent. I therefore have no
intention of installing them only to find that they have disabled my
currently installed software or hardware. I have successfully and safely
operated my current OS and mail client without problems for quite some time
and I'm confident that I can do so for the foreseeable future. Before I
downgrade my OS to XP and subject myself to an onerous and privacy violating
software registration process I will throw my computer away.

Then live with your problems.

What you propose could be correct. However I have no doubt that the cure is
much worse than the problem. I sincerely hope I haven't offended you and I
thank you for trying to help.
